The CEO is aware that the BAME Communities are alien to the ‘talking therapy’.
Obviously, some BAME men do not accept or embrace therapeutic counselling and others are resisting talking to stranger because of fear that their stories will be all over the streets. He found this a very thought-provoking experience and himself with the team, endeavored to help and meet the needs of BAME communities.
Interestingly, SLCSS has helped many people to evolve and accept the confidential therapeutic counselling. Their self-confidence and self-esteem have improved tremendously including improved mental health, well-being and life-style.
